Day 3: Osaka Orientation

hi guys, sorry for the late posts.. yup day 3 was spent in Osaka, in grps of 4. we were supposed to go to 2 places(given by the centre) by ourselves and complete some tasks there. Our place was Sumiyoshi Taisha( a tradition japanese temple), and Tsuutenkaku( a smaller version of effiel tower). yup we need to travel there on our own. We were given this Osaka one day pass, where we can take almost all the trains unlimited times, also there are coupons inside that give us free entry to certain attractions. Yup we were suppose to take goup shots there, and also take with Japanese locals together. then need to take japanese food(eg, takoyaki, okonomiyaki etc..), oh and interview some japanese people. Yup photos are uploaded on facebook too, but i'll upload some here too..

after completing out tasks, we then went to Osaka Castle. Wow its really nice there, but if its sakura season, the whole place will be full of sakura! toobad... after that, most of us met at a famous street in Osaka, Nipponbashi. ate in a famous curry rice store, i must say actually its quite spicy. can see the japanese who were eating, armed with a hankercheif haha. saw places like those game stores, huge manga stores etc.. its quite lively there. but then the shops usually close at 8 or 9, quite early right?

Oh ya, i walked past Osaka Municipal Symphonic band's head office, they having outdoor concerts free from july every friday. together with their local school bands too. yodogawa also performing! im so going to go haha! pls view the photos from bottom to top, thats the chronological order. more photos on FB.
